FREE All Ages Bloom Newport celebrates the creativity, culture, cuisine, community, and commerce that makes Newport unique and vibrant! Join us for our 4th annual wild and wonderful celebration featuring live entertainment, art, beer garden, food trucks, local merchants, the Oregon Coast Art Bus, surf swap, and so much more. This year our footprint expands to include the Newport Visual Arts Center and a new promenade along Cliff Street connecting it with the Newport Performing Arts Center! A fun, free festival for the whole family from 11am-3pm!

The festival’s unique blend of art, fun, and environmental awareness offers something for everyone: Last year’s celebration featured the following:

Art and Creativity:. Michael Guerriero created and gathered folks to make art in the form of bigger-than-life animal puppets, and kids and adults alike can join in crafting their own Wild Things accessories for the parade. Educational Booths and Activities: Learn about our coastal ecosystem through engaging demonstrations, plant and animal walks, and educational booths hosted by an incredible lineup of organizations. Wild Plant Sale: Hosted by the MidCoast Watersheds Council and Lincoln Soil and Water Conservation District, this plant sale is a great opportunity to support local conservation efforts while adding some beautiful native plants to your garden. Music and Entertainment: The festival will feature interactive performances by Your Song My Song, an environmental justice-focused children’s entertainment group. Their shows are filled with music, puppets, and storytelling that celebrates Earth’s beauty while inspiring audiences to take care of the planet.

Water The Musical is a free, fun and interactive concert for all ages where you, the audience, use 200 handmade space and sea puppets to weave stories of ecology and generate excitement, love and stewardship for the wildlife and wild places on planet earth. Bring the whole family to dance, play, sing along and move some energy as we go on a musical adventure about our beautiful waterways and planetary home in space.

Join us at 2PM on Saturday, October 26th, for FREE all ages show to celebrate our beautiful planet at the Lincoln City Cultural Center. Event check-in between 9am and 10am. Your Song My Song plays from 11-12pm

Be part of a dedicated group of hikers who hit the trails for breast cancer prevention. All fundraising efforts will support Breast Cancer Prevention Partners’ mission to prevent breast cancer by eliminating our exposure to toxic chemicals and other environmental links to the disease. 

All ages are welcome on the 6-mile scenic trail, with options for a shorter distance (2.5-mile) available.

We all love our pets, but they are not allowed in the regional park. Pease leave your pets at home.  

Smoking and alcoholic beverages are prohibited at this event.
